Peptide Reconstitution
Calculator

Calculate exactly how much solvent you need and how many units to draw per dose. Select a peptide below or enter your own values. For laboratory research use only.

Quick-select by peptide

Click a peptide to automatically set vial amount & BAC water

1

Peptide amount in vial

As printed on the vial — e.g. 5 mg or 10 mg

Or enter manually:
mg
2

Reconstitution solvent (BAC water)

More water = lower concentration per ml, easier to measure accurately

Or enter manually:
ml
3

Target sample quantity

In micrograms (mcg) — 1 mg = 1000 mcg

Or enter manually:
4

Measurement vessel capacity

Select the volume capacity of your graduated measurement vessel — U-100 scale (100 units = 1 ml)

How it's calculated

Stock concentration= peptide (mcg) ÷ solvent (ml)
Calculated sample volume= sample qty (mcg) ÷ concentration (mcg/ml)
U-100 scale units= volume (ml) × 100

What is BAC water?

Bacteriostatic water (BAC) contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, allowing multiple draws from the same vial while inhibiting microbial growth.

U-100 graduated vessel

A U-100 graduated vessel has 100 units per ml — if you need 0.25 ml, measure to the 25-unit mark. The 0.5 ml / 50U format is standard for small-volume sampling.

Storage after reconstitution

Store reconstituted peptides refrigerated (2–8°C), protected from light. Use within 28 days. Keep unreconstituted vials in the freezer.
